Shaping the retail experience of the future

Today marks day 1 of the London based and John Lewis backed JLAB initiative to "shape the retail experience of the future".  I'm quite excited that our Australian startup was here to mark the occasion.

We were greeted by a range of industry partners ranging from UK retail tech startups to PayPal and Silicon Valley investment banks.   There is a real sense that our new offices are in the middle of a high-end technology hub - Canary Wharf.

Andy Street, Managing Director of John Lewis, gave a great opening speech touching on the intersection of online & mobile technology with bricks and mortar experiences.  It's clear that we'll be working with a progressive retail group that recognises the business potential of digital engagement.  Watch this space.
