Localz’ partner, Janus Technology, is exhibiting at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Amsterdam from 9th February until 12th February. The consultancy company is going to talk to attendees about current and future projects, software solutions, integration, app-based control and manufacturer-branded custom installation drivers.
ISE 2016 aims to connect new technologies, companies and end-user industries. The show includes four Show Floor Theatres: Residential Solutions Theatre, Commercial Solutions Theatre, Unified Communications Theatre, Audio Solutions Theatre, which are are used to host 20-minute, free-to-attend, presentations for all attendees. At ISE 2016, exhibitors can visit audio demo rooms, conference sessions, training programmes, tech tours, summits and many more different experiences.
During the ISE 2016 show, Janus Technology is going to promote a smart home solution, which has integrated Localz location technology to enhance home automation. By knowing who a person is and where they are, the new solution connects with residents’ smartphones, based on their proximity to their home. The combined solution can trigger a variety of actions in and around the home by individuals.
Localz location technology, such as beacons and geo-fencing, can trigger events such as opening the gate on arrival, based on how close residents are to their home. Pre-defined actions, like arming security systems and engaging cameras, can be prompted without residents needing to press “away”. In the home, lights can be turned on and off depending on the movement of people from one room to another. Individuals can create online profiles on the smart home app and add their personal preferences, so when they enter the living room, their favourite song can start playing.
