Emma Lampert, Global Head of Customer Success at Localz has been selected to moderate the “Embracing The Next Phase Of Augmented Reality Technology” panel discussion at Field Service Europe 2019. The panel will take place on Tuesday 10th December 2019 at 15:25.
Localz is supporting the ‘Uberization’ of the field service industry globally, working with the sector to meet the ever rising consumer expectations. We challenge and support businesses who need to evolve due to new consumer pressures. We know that ‘uberizing’ day of service communication with real-time, geo-triggered communications and tracking is critical.
With Augmented Reality (AR) becoming the new buzzword and concerns around engineers being pushed out of jobs, the discussion aims to debunk the myths around the use of AR in field services.

Localz will be joined by industry experts to look at how AR is having an impact on the field service market:
- Claire Keelan, Service Director, UK&I, Johnson Controls;
- Anthony Musgrave, Business Unit Manager - Field Service; Olympus Medical,
- Andy Barker, Project Manager, PTC and;
- Anna Waight, Global Sales Director for Dynamics 365 Mixed Reality Business Application.
The panel experts will be sharing how AR has had an impact on their business, their current use cases for implementing AR and the challenges and benefits it brings to the market. Specifically addressing the concerns raised in the industry around the death of the engineer.
They will share their best practices for AR piloting, implementation, and how they scale their programs.
